Royal Jewelers was started in 1976 in Christiansted, St. Croix in the US Virgin Islands. Originally, the business flourished as a duty-free retailer of fine china and collectible porcelain.

Our success with brands like Wedgwood, Orrefors, Kosta Boda, Waterford and many others allowed us to begin representing fine jewelry brands as well. Over the years, the business continued to flourish, following the cruise ships and opening stores in the better cruise destinations. Splitting their time between their St. Croix home base and their stores in Ketchikan Alaska and Cabo San Lucas has been tough for them as a family, but while many companies stagnate and wither, Royal Jewelers has continued to thrive and multiply, thanks to their creativity, dedication and hard work.

Currently there are two Royal Jewelers stores in St. Croix, two in Ketchikan, Alaska, two in Cabo San Lucas and one in Mazatlan, Mexico.  A new location in Juneau, Alaska opened in the summer of 2009 and our newest location, St. Thomas, opened in 2010.

You’ll find more information about each of these locations on the “Our Locations” page following.
